Rotarian Sharad Mehta, an active member of the Rotary Club of Westborough's Environmental Committee, presents A Practical Case for Zero Emissions Energy & Transportation.  Sharad's presentation will be beneficial to anyone who is alarmed by climate change, the rise in sea levels and CO2 emissions and is interested in learning more about positive stepsindividuals and families can take.  

Sharad will cover - 

- Is it feasible to transition from conventional non-renewable to sustainable, carbon free energy and transportation?

- How to approach a move to Solar Power System + Electric Vehicles

Presenter:

Sharad Mehta is a Westborough resident and Rotarian who has recently transitioned to Sustainable Energy and Transportation. In this presentation, he will share his own motivation and experiences in going through this transition.  He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Purdue University. He has over 25 years of experience in automotive, semiconductor and defense industries. Sharad is currently working at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.
