Fall For Wellness is a free community program for all ages- from children through senior adults. Through a wellness expo, hands-on activities, information sessions, and opportunities to learn about health-benefiting tools, the hope is to connect attendees to resources that support mental and behavioral health, showcase various ways to positively impact well-being, and decrease the stigma surrounding mental health.
The Rotary Club of Westborough will have a table for members to share with the attendees information on how we support the community through our many activities. This is time to engage with the community and share how they can get involved in our many service projects.
This event is being planned by Square One which is a collaborative partnership between Westborough Public Schools, Westborough Youth and Family Services, the Rotary Club of Westborough, Westborough Public Library and Westborough Connects. The group offers free programming and resources designed to support community education and resilience around substance use and mental health.
The Rotary Club of Westborough as a member of the Square One Collaboration is sponsoring the Fall For Wellness, taking place on Sunday, September 27th from 1-4 pm at Westborough High School. This free community program is for all ages. Through a wellness expo, info sessions, active sessions (e.g., Yoga, Mindfulness), and opportunities to learn about health benefiting tools, the organizers, the Square One Collaboration, hope to connect attendees to resources which support mental and behavioral health, showcase various ways to positively impact well-being, and decrease the stigma surrounding mental health. There will be free light refreshments, raffle prizes, and giveaways! Spend some time doing a relaxing art activity or learn about common items that can be used by teens to hide substances in the Hidden in Plain Sight exhibit. Be among the first 50 attendees and $20 will be donated in your honor to the Advocates, thanks to Dolan & Maloney Insurance Agency and Thomas Financial Associates.
