On Sunday, September 15, the Alzheimer's Association will host its annual Walk to End Alzheimer's.  The 3.5 mile walk will take place in Worcester at 100 North Parkway (near the Hanover Insurance building). The opening ceremony starts at 10am and the start of the walk follows immediately after at 10:30 am. Like many walks/runs, the Walk to End Alzheimer's is inspiring. To experience it is to understand!

You do not have to raise money to walk, but of course donations of any amount are always welcome and raising money through the Walk's webpage and social media is really easy to do!

I am walking as part of the Right at Home team.  If you would like to walk with our team you are welcome to do so. That's option 1. If you walk with us we'll give you a Right at Home t-shirt to wear for the walk and I will set you up as a member of our team on our team's Walk page so that you have the option to raise money in your name.

Option 2, if there are 5 Rotarians who wish to form a team, I'm happy to set up a team page for the group on the Walk's page. This will give each of you a chance to raise money in your name, as members of the Westborough Rotary Club. I will need to have a commitment to this option by Tuesday, September 3rd.

If, by Wednesday, September 5, there are fewer than 5 Rotarians who wish to walk I will add you to the RAH team  by default, unless you tell me otherwise.

Feel free to call me at 508-308-1226, with any questions. I hope you will join us in walking to with friends to end this horrible, devastating disease!

Best,

Shelby
