Beth Ariente, Vice President at Berkshire Bank, joined the Westborough Rotary Club in July 2022. Her love of community and helping others in need called her to do service as a Rotarian. "Despite what is going on in this country and world, there are good people who want to make a difference, which is why I love being a part of Rotary," states Ariente. "I don't think the Westborough community fully realizes that there are people in our community who have food insecurity...Westborough's Farmer's Market with its POP program for children and individuals over 70 is helping to address this problem." One of Ariente's favorite Rotary initiatives is the Unsung Hero program. "We formed a team and did outreach to the Westborough community to nominate children and adults for this award--I am so proud of the work we did to identify and recognize six outstanding Unsung Heroes."
