Editor's Comments: He's sick The news about President Brain was greatly underrated, even Mick's comment "He feels like x#x#". A couple weeks ago Bryan became severely ill. He went to the Doctor who immediately put him in the hospital at first they couldn't figure out what was wrong. It turned out he had a life threatening leakage of the small intestine. I spoke with him Friday he said mentally he's about 90%, physically about 70% and mobility about 50% but getting there. Brain plans to be at this weeks Hopkinton meeting let's all be there to welcome him back.

Our speaker Wednesday April 7, 2010 was Senior Center Director Alma Demanche , Alma spoke about the Senior centers efforts to help Westborough's Seniors who need assistants paying their energy bills. Alma was presented with a check for $ 1200 from the club which was funded with the help of a matching grant from Rotary district 7910.

lydia goldblatt update -
The office is located in the JFK Federal Office Building in Boston at Government Center.
We are located on the 24th floor. The Staff consists of 7 FT employees at the present time.
There will most likely be an additional 4 hired for various positions. I was initially hired as Director of Constituency Services , but in the meantime the State Director of all State wide operations resigned. As a result I was named last week acting State Director.

I must say I am very busy not only with those responsibility but also with my Town Duties. I truly miss lunch on Wednesdays with all of you, and I value my weekends in Westborough. Although I am home every night in Westborough that usually isn't till about 9pm. As I am on the 6am going back into Boston it doesn't leave much time for anything else.
I wish you all much success with the Rotary weekend and unless I am with Scott at events I will be there.
I also look forward to the upcoming dinner welcoming Peter Gardner as the new President and thanking Bryan for his past year of service.
My best to you all.
Regards
