WESTBOROUGH- James F. O'Regan, 89, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 20, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 60 years to Mary P. (Rogashio) O'Regan.

He is also survived by four children, Michael J. O'Regan and his wife, Deborah, of Westborough, Mary Jean O'Regan of Portland, Maine, Diane O'Regan and her husband, Glen Orsi of Auburn and Brian T. O'Regan of Northborough.. He leaves six grandchildren, Shawn O'Regan and his wife, Corinne of Grafton, Katelin, Courtney and Timothy O'Regan all of Westborough, Jared Libby and his wife, Catherine of Hawaii and Liam Broderick of Portland, Maine; two great granddaughters, Bailey and Bella O'Regan of Grafton.

He was born in Boston, and grew up in Natick. He was the son of Florence and Mary J. (Carroll) O'Regan. His brother Lawrence T. O'Regan of Natick and his sister Mary P. Scannell of Wellesley predeceased him. He also lived in Worcester prior to moving to Westborough. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945 during WW II. He was President and founder of Feecon Corp. which from 1970 until 1990 was the leading manufacturer of Fire Fighting Equipment used on Airport Crash Fire Fighting Vehicles. Feecon equipment was used by the U.S. Air Force and at airports throughout the world. He retired in 1990.

He was a member of the National Fire Protection Association and had served as Chairman of its Aviation Section. He was a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and had served as president of the New England Chapter. He was a graduate of WPI where he played varsity football and baseball, a member of Tau Beta Pi, Sigma Xi and Skull. He was a member of the WPI Fire Science Department Advisory Board, an active member of the WPI Alumni Association and past President of the Tech Old Timers. He served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities for over 30 years and was the past President of the Board. He was a member of St. Luke's Parish in Westborough where he was a Lector, and a member of St. Luke's Seniors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, the Westborough Rotary Club and the Holy Cross Sodality.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 23, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Dear Fellow Rotarians, I regret to inform you that our long time friend and club member, Larry Ware, has passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Evelyn, and their family.
Lawrence Ware, 65, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with leukemia. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Evelyn (Brown) Ware; his two daughters: Leslie Freed and her husband Kelly of Staunton, Virginia and Laura Tambascio and her husband Larry of Northborough, Massachusetts; four grandchildren: Brian and Margaret Freed, and Robert and Mary Tambascio.

Larry was born in Chicago, Illinois, son of Donald and Margaret (Trochelman) Ware, but lived in Westborough for over 60 years. He graduated from Westborough High School and attended Clark University. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 until 1965, and in the U.S. Air Force Reserve from 1965 to 1967. He owned and operated Westborough Citgo Service Station for over 30 years, and D & P Wright Construction Company for many years until his retirement in 2007.

He was a member of the Westborough Rotary Club since 1974, serving two terms as president and receiving multiple Paul Harris Fellowships. Larry was a Corporator for Westborough Savings/Avidia Bank. He served on the Town of Westborough Finance Committee, and on the Planning Commission for the Westborough Fire Station. He was past president and treasurer of Gold Miners of New England, a member of the North Grafton Fish & Game, treasurer of the Minuteman Allegro R.V. Club and a member of the Gold Wing Riders Association.

Larry loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved skiing, hunting, traveling in his motorhome and on his Gold Wing motorcycle, and spending time at his camp in Vermont.

He is also survived by his brothers: Donald E. Ware, Jr. and wife Shirley of Houston, Texas, Richard A. Ware and financé Kathe Bowman of Westborough, and Kenneth H. Ware and wife Barbara of Lakeville, Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews.
